Education
Brad received his Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2002. He is also a graduate of the University of North Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in December of 1993. He graduated “Cum Laude” and is still trying to figure what exactly that means. Since it is on his diploma, he is hoping it is a good thing.

Background

Brad grew up in Georgetown, Texas where he graduated from high school in 1989. He has been served as the full time Minister to Students at First Baptist Denton from January of 1997 to April 2007 and is now the Campus Pastor for First Denton East. Prior to this, Brad served as the part time Minister to College Students at FBCD for two years.

Family

Brad has been married to his wife Cari since May of 1993. Cari is a kindergarten teacher at Pecan Creek Elementary and is currently working on her master’s degree at Texas Woman’s University. Brad and Cari have three sons: Chance Mitchell (age 11), Chandler Gene (age 10), and Cameron Ernest (age 7). Chance loves to skateboard and play baseball. He also enjoys drawing and is quite an artist. Chandler loves playing baseball and basketball and is exceptionally smart. Cameron loves doing everything his older brothers are doing and is making his name known on the soccer and t-ball fields.

Hobbies

Brad spends most of his free time coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams. He also enjoys playing a little golf, basketball, softball and flagfootball and watching sports (especially the Cowboys and Braves), hunting, and fishing. On the side, Brad also referees a little basketball and performs illusions (on a very limited scale).
