2003 Pioneer Mission Praise Report
Greetings in
His Holy Name:
For the last eight years
we have been conducting Pioneer Mission Revivals. The Lord instructed
us back in 1996 to begin doing Pioneer Mission Revivals. HE
was very clear that we should go, paying our own travel and
living expenses and not to accept any offerings. It has been
such a joy to go to these small struggling churches to encourage
pastor and people and to see a harvest of lost souls. Some hear
the Good News for the first time, and some experience the first
Revival Meeting in the church's history.
For years the Lord let
me serve in some of the largest churches in America. I praise
Him for that past opportunity; however, I am praising Him for
the JOY of serving the Pioneer Churches and small mission churches
of America. I cannot express to you what a JOY this is.
Last year (2003) we were
in ten states and conducted 36 meetings. 21 of these meetings
were in Pioneer and Mission Churches. This is a praise report
only on the 21 Pioneer Mission Churches. Average attendance
was 20 or less in all these Pioneer Mission meetings in New
York, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and New Mexico. The Lord
blessed with 124 precious souls trusting Christ as Lord of their
lives. There were many public rededication's.
In one church in New
Mexico a lady quit her job just to attend the revival. We prayed
with her and the Lord gave her a better job the very next week.
In Wisconsin 10 grown ladies were saved. One lady was 85 and
two were in their 70's. A Chief Petty Officer in the Navy was
home on leave and saved in Wisconsin.
What a blessing to go
to these churches for "no dough and no show." A few churches
and individuals make it possible.
Paul and Christy Newberry
did the music in the Minnesota- Wisconsin, New Mexico and small
West Texas meetings. Price Harris did the music in the New York
meetings and Bill Cypert did the music in the Illinois meeting.
This year (2004) we have
Pioneer and Mission meetings booked in New Jersey, Massachusetts,
Minnesota- Wisconsin and Florida. Phillip Willis, Paul and Christy
Newberry and Jerry Swimmer will do the music in these meetings.
We do earnestly covet
your prayers for another fruitful year on the Pioneer and Mission
fields. Thanks. Awaiting the SHOUT, Rick Ingle
