Annual International Missions Emphasis
In November each year, FBC, Denton, begins an emphasis on International Missions and the need for the gospel around the world.


It is promoted through the month of December with a special time of study and a week of prayer for International Missions and promotion of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.

Annual North American Missions Emphasis
In February each year, FBC, Denton, begins an emphasis on North American Missions and the need to share the gospel in the United States. It is promoted through the month of March with a special time of study and a week of prayer for North American Missions and promotion of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. 


About half of the funding given through the FBC  World Mission Offering on a weekly or monthly basis is given to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering at the end of the year. However, all members are also encouraged to donate specifically to the offering during the Christmas season.

Annual State Missions Emphasis 
In February each year, FBC, Denton, begins an emphasis on North American missions and the need to share the gospel in the United States. It is promoted through the month of March with a special time of study and a week of prayer for North American missions and promotion of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.

About one-fourth of the funding given through the FBC World Mission Offering on a weekly or monthly basis is given to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering at the end of the year. However, all members are also encouraged to donate specifically to the offering during the Easter season.



Annual World Hunger Offering

In October each year, FBC, Denton, begins an emphasis on World Hunger and the physical needs of people in the United States and the world. It is promoted through the month of October and into November with a special time of emphasis on world hunger and on the World Hunger Offering.

A small percentage of the funding given through the FBC World Mission Offering on a weekly or monthly basis is given to the World Hunger Offering at the end of the year. However, all members are also encouraged to donate specifically to the offering during the Fall months.

Local Mission Needs
On a continuing basis, FBC, Denton, tries to meet the spiritual and physical needs of persons in the local area by supporting a Food Bank and by using offerings given for local needs.

A small percentage of the funding given through the FBC Mission Offering on a weekly or monthly basis is used by the church for Local Mission needs.

Missionary Residence
FBC, Denton, has a fully furnished residence in Denton for use by International or North American Mission Board missionaries who are in need of housing for a period of time. Reservations and arrangements for its use are handled through the office of the Minister of Business Administration of the church.
